The studio

A small team that stays for the boring part

We're based in Bandar Seri Begawan. We build software for the care teams and small businesses around us, and we keep maintaining it after launch.

Health and business software

Two kinds of work, one habit: start with the person doing the job.

  • Health

Geriatric assessment for outpatient clinics: sarcopenia, frailty and falls risk across every patient.

    GeriTrack

  • Business

Small tools for freelancers and the businesses that hire them: posting work, tracking it and getting paid.

How a project runs

Four habits, in the order a project meets them. They're why the products above are still in use.

  1. Watch the work first

Before we design anything, we sit with the clinician, carer or freelancer doing the job and note where the time actually goes.

  2. Ship something small

A working slice in people's hands beats a long spec. We release early, watch it being used, then build the next piece.

  3. Say plainly what it does

No “AI-powered solutions”. If it flags a patient's falls risk before the fall, that's what we call it, and that's what we test against.

  4. Stay for the boring part

Most software fails after launch. We keep maintaining what we build, and you talk to the people who wrote it.

Most software fails after launch. We stay for the boring part: the updates, the fixes, and a person you can call.

Got a job that takes longer than it should?

Tell us who does the work and what takes too long. Someone on the team reads every message and writes back.
